Dance was one of the most important forms of entertainment and socialising. Dressed in luxurious clothes with their polished baroque manners and harmonious dance steps Giostranti take you back into the 18th century as they revive baroque dances performed once in the salons of Poreč nobility. Baroque dance choreographies were created by using original 18th century notations found in Poreč Heritage Museum.

Performing baroque dances is extremely demanding as they are a fine blend of movements and highly developed technical interconnection between dance and music. It demands refined movements, a sense for rhythm, fast and precise footwork, well balanced and controlled body and an extreme spatial awareness.
